Linking the Oil & Gas Industry to Improve Cybersecurity (LOGIIC)

LOGIIC is an ongoing collaboration of oil and natural gas companies and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate. LOGIIC was formed to facilitate cooperative research, development, testing, and evaluation procedures to improve cybersecurity in petroleum industry digital control systems. CoreTrace has been an active participant in numerous LOGIIC tests designed to evaluate the fitness of application whitelisting for the oil and gas industry.  We will continue to develop solutions that meet the needs of this critical industry at a time when it is most vulnerable to attack.

Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS)

CoreTrace helps companies secure high-risk chemical facilities and meet CFATS compliance by preventing the installation and execution of malicious code.  When Stuxnet was discovered, anti-virus vendors spent days working on analyzing the threat, its detection and removal.  By the time the damage was done.  Bouncer-protected system enjoyed compete protection because Stuxnet could not execute on protected endpoints.  Yet another example of how Bouncer is protecting critical assets in the critical business of oil and gas.
